Westlake Photography is a portrait studio and is not currently booking weddings. We would, however, welcome the opportunity to shoot your engagement photos and help to capture your love story before your wedding!

We like families to play, laugh, tickle and be goofy during our sessions, and walk away with beautiful, natural photos that encompass your family dynamic or your child's personality. Piggyback/shoulder rides, kisses and close cuddles are all encouraged!

Before your session, we'll discuss your ideal location and clothing choices, as well as the personalities of those being photographed. We encourage you to think about where you will want to place your portraits around your home and who you will want to gift any prints or products to so that we can manage the shoot for your expectations.

Portrait sessions take place at a location of your choice with natural lighting. We have tons of ideas for locations, so we can brainstorm if you need help. The outdoor lighting is best in the early morning or early evening so thats when we will schedule your session! Sessions typically last around 45 minutes, but little ones usually let us know when they're done! Outfit changes are welcome during the session.

The question we hear most often after the session is: "How will I choose what to order? I love them all!" So we're here to help! After your photographs are custom-edited, we'll schedule an ordering session at our viewing studio for you to see your gallery, and we'll help you decide which prints and products you are dying to have to showcase your gorgeous images. You will also receive a password to access your online gallery, so that you can share it with family and friends. Before your ordering consultation, though, you'll be able to see a sneak peek of your portraits on our blog, so be sure to check soon after your session!
